Epson Picture Mate

My dad is looking at printers and asked me what the draw was to the dedicated 4x6 printers, like the Epson Picture Mate, versus a letter-sized R200. I wasn't sure myself. Are the 4x6 printers that much cheaper per print, or faster, than a letter-sized printer?

I am not sure the best answer for this...kinda just wanted to give ya a bump for maybe someone else might have missed this thread.


But I would say that a larger printer gives you more options what if you get a shot that would look really great as a 8x10

Choice is good, so I would say to get a full format printer.
