Someone one this fourm bought one recently, I don't remember who though.
The reviews IV seen so far are very good.
If you do a search you mite find a few things here in the Dgrin.
I know if you do a search on FM or Dpreview you'll find some people who own it and have posted reviews and test shots.
But like I said I'm planning on getting this lens and a 500d closeup filter to go with it when I save up enough money. The reviews Iv seen have looked up to par with the sigma and canon 180 shots.
Let us know what you find out and if you find some good links post them because there are a couple of people on here looking at a possible feature purchase of this lens.

A good friend has the older 180mm. The new 150mm is basically a replacement for it, as it has the same magnification and almost same working distance - also more optimized for digital. The 180 is an awesome lens, so the 150 will only be better. Sigma's new generation of lenses is getting excellent reviews everywhere.

People are getting some fantastic shots with this lens. I just bought the Canon 100mm f/2.8 and I am very happy with it's performance as well.

Hey lucky I'll be taking the plunge too as soon as I get back. I'm in the military and have to go do a mission for a few months. Andhttp://reecephoto.smugmug.com/photos/8920630-M-4.jpgI leave in a few days. I'll be there for about 2 months. Hopefully I wont get extended and I'll be back in 60 days or so. If you haven't gotten it by then I'll let you know how it works. But from what Iv see it's a great lens.

Good luck lucky.:thumb
