We had a rare billowing gloomy gray blue cloud day in Silicon Valley which I was enjoying so much. Of course I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't been working offsite and could have gone shooting! Grrr.

Finally when we left work the sun came out, but it was on a sort of city street scene... driving home where we had our golden hills the sun wasn't around. But if it had been, the colors would have been close to what you captured!

Great shot!!! And thank you for the link on the effect. I was going to ask that very question. I've always liked this effect but have had NO clue as to how it's created.
