Sadly amongst the bloodshed in a Burma a Japanese photo journalist has been shot in what appears to be a fairly cold blooded execution.

It's difficult to quantify the global effect these brave photographers can have bringing these events to the World's attention, personally I think it's immense.

There is a clip on Youtube of the event but I warn some may find it extremely distressing. I won't post a link but it's pretty easy to find if you search for 'burma japanese journalist' should you want to view it.

Depressing times indeed.

Beat me to breaking the news. Very sad indeed. :cry Here's a link to the online version of my local paper's story: http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/world/la-fg-myanmar29sep29,1,2978186.story?ctrack=1&cset=true

This time around there's no hiding what's going on for these thugs. It seems the thought process is shoot, shoot some more, aw screw the questions--we've still got more ammo & who cares who gets shot. :dunno
