Possible emotion entry?

Wonderment.

Does the bokeh need to be more pronounced? Is the ear too soft? Does a profile actually show enough to show emotion?

I guess with all these things I'm picking at, I've answered my own question. :D

I find this photo interesting. But ... I'd make more 'close-up' crop - temple on the left side. If you have some space to the right - I'd added it, if no - I'd still left all the space you have here to the right of the boy.

I guess it looks like Concentration to me. Of course that has emotion associated with it as well. I agree on the cropping. I wouldn't worry about the rest of your concerns.:thumb

I'll try the crop suggestion. Nothing to add on the right though. This is the actual shot without cropping.
