Canon EF 35 f/1.4L USM : Sigma AF30mm f/1.4 EX DG

Can anybody give me a comparison of:

Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L USM, and the Sigma AF 30mm F/1.4 EX DG.

The Sigma is around half the price of the Canon, is this reflected in the build quality, IQ, etc?

Has anybody used both?

Martyn, I've never used the Sigma lens but I once borrowed Andy's Canon 35L it certainly felt like it was built to last and super sharp too, I'd love one!
