Ya did good. + sharp. :thumb I usually have to use my telescope to get a shot like this. Wonder why so much noise given your camera settings.

DaddyO, I agree the background is quite noisy. The moon itself however is as noise-free as I've ever gotten and I'm pleased with that.
I'm pretty sure the background noise was a result of shooting at dusk. There was still a bit of daylight. So the background is way under exposed, as opposed to being unexposed which is what would happen when the sky is black. At any rate, I didn't make any attempt to filter the noise out of the background, because you're not supposed to be looking there. :smack :rofl

How'd ya know. :scratch Guess I really need to upgrade from this ol'beast.

Maybe, this is like the first ever shot of photons dukeing it out with dark
matter. :wink
