It was very late at night, not a living soul in sight.
Heard footsteps on the ceiling, oh what a horrible feeling.
Jumped quickly out of bed, with dread growing in my head.
Armed with camera by my side ventured out to face the night.
Could it be a thief? Or that bully with big feet?
Or could it be the reaper come to take me to St. Peter.
Way beyond belief and much to my relief
was none of the above just the masked one we all love:
