Very pretty shot with nice color. I would have stepped down my aperture setting for that shot.

Harry? step down means... smaller number, larger ap? why would you do this?

which means go to a smaller aperture (bigger number) thus providing for more d.o.f.

Hey Angelo,

When I shoot I keep the shutter speed up so I can capture something in motion and/or to minimize camera shake. Normally on a landscape shot motion is not an issue so you want to keep the shutter speed up mainly to minimize camera shake if you are not using some means of support, usually 1/60 sec. is ok. You want to step down the aperture (higher numbers) so you have deeper depth of field (usually you don't want a fuzzy background). This shot had no one thing as a center of interest, it was a gestalt kind of shot so a stepped down aperture was the way to go, IMHO.
