Shoot Halos in the Sky This Week and Weekend

RARE HALOS: This weekend people in New England and eastern Canada have
seen some unusually lovely halos and pillars of light in the sky. It's
because of a bitter cold snap that has filled the air with light-bending
ice crystals. More such displays are possible as the cold weather
continues. If you live in New England, or any place where the air is very
cold, pay attention to the sky. Images on Spaceweather.com this week will show you some examples of what you might see.
