Hello and welcome... just two suggestions: can you post to another site and just link the photos (attachments get hard to work with)? second, these are all pretty small, hard to comment on anything but general composition.

Hi Phillip,

The shots are kind of small so its hard to say much. How are you doing with your D70?

first thank you for answering my post and second i really wish i had a canon digital instead of Nikon but my high school has given me the d70 all year with two lenses without charge or anything so it works. And last, the images are small because originally there were too big so i had to scale them down but most of them are on my website at philipbaack.com and if not ill have them on by tommorow.

The D70's a great camera, nothing to apologize for, lots of folks would kill to have one.

From what I can see, you have really nice background blur, and your exposures are well handled. Subject matter's nice without being special.

My biggest feedback would be your composition. Looks like you always put your subject in the center of the frame. I assume you've learned about the rule of thirds? Using it would make these shots even better. Much more dynamic to put your subject on a third.

Keep 'em coming, itscritical! :thumb

I looked at your web site... you have some GREAT SHOTS. Good colors and perspective. High school huh? Well, you're on your way to a wonderful start.

Look out Andy!:rofl

Doc is right... If you can link the image to your post. It will help.

peace.

You need a place to host your own pics. When you want to drop a pic in your post hit the little icon above the text box that looks like a mountain. You will need to type the address that is hosting your pic.

Example without brackets

When posted it looks like this

hope that helps.
