Problems with Home Page

Hello for the first time since I am a new Power User Smugger and just registered as a new DGrinner. This has been a real learning curve customizing my home page but I have a couple of problems. I installed the Nav Bar and was simple and also installed all the scripts for a slide show on my home page and it runs but is small and on the lower left side of the home page. Here are my 2 questions:
1 I would like my home page to only show the slideshow below the navigation buttons without the words "DigitalizedMemories'Home" and also the area containing the thumbnail from the gallery.
2 I also need direction how to center the slideshow and as you can see it is on the left side and not centered. Would removing the area above it with the thumbnail allow it to be centered?

Hello again, I found the script to remove the gallery small photo but as one can see now the slide show needs centered. The Slideshow is in the footer and not the bioBiox. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again Bill

Add these to your CSS. The second one stabilizes the page.

#mySlideshow {text-align: center;}
#ssSlide {height: 200px;}
