My google map is not working anymore

Seems all of a sudden my Google maps is not working any more. It is saying I have to create a new key. However, the link to create the key does not seem to be working. Says page cannot be displayed. Server unavaialble. Why would the previous key not work anymore? Just to mention I just changed my site to use my domain name (www.cyberphotogs.com) if that makes a difference.

I do not seem to have the old key anymore. Should have kept the email. Silly me. So how can I regenerate. The link to get the google key on my maps page does not work. Keep getting a page not found error.

Everytime I go to link to generate new key on Google, I get a problem loading page error. Can you try same and see what happens for you?

then go to your settings tab in Control Panel, Delete the olde one and then input the new one.

Deleted old one (I think) but cannot seem to find where to input the new one. There is no spot to enter it in SmugIslands.

Thanks Adny but still having the same issue. When I click on the generate button in google the following error is displayed.

Firefox can't find the server at murakami.nyc.corp.google.com.

Are you getting the same error. I guess I need the key first before I can do anything and that is where the problem lies. Are you aware of issue with Google map key generator.

Problem solved. Looked up answer on the Google Maps API discussion group. I have not been the only person having the problem with Google map key generator.

You have to go to the following site.

http://www.google.com/maps/api_signup?url=your URL

Substitue your URL for the URL you wish to use. You will them be taken to page where you will receive a key for your URL.
