Nice picture. I have one similar to that, but it was taken with a Konica Minolta and not of very good quality. I'll post that too. But your pic is very sweet, it's heartwarming.

Thanks, amscout! I appreciate your comment. I had a look at your image, as well. Sweet shot.

1. I believe I would crop it a little tighter...
2. I think that it would help to remove the blimishes.
3. The skin color on the baby doesn't seem right to me.
4. There are people that are far better than I at fixing skin problems, maybe they could help you.
JUST A THOUGHT!!!! AZZARO

I'm for removing blemishes; however, you removed her moles/freckles.

Thanks for the input. Oddly enough, the baby's color was off in real life. She had only been home from the hospital for about a week, and still had some jaundice left over from some complications during her birth. I agree that the image would probably be more pleasing with a more natural looking skin tone. However, I am still such a novice with Photoshop that I don't know how to correct the skin tones of one subject without affecting the other!

An image such as this though is a reminder of a particular time in ones life. It's great as it is im my opinion and you should be proud of it :)
I think a little too much PP is being done these days, everyone has to have perfect skin etc and it's moving from 'snapshot memories' to digital art :|
