smugmug doesn't support .png files?

Did I miss a step somewhere?

In the tutorial for making your own watermark it says to save it as a .png, upload and Voila....

Only catch being is that the voila doesn't happen cause I keep getting a message telling me it's not a supported format:dunno :rolleyes :scratch

Next will come the save for web screen, be sure to select PNG-24 and Transparency. Click "Save" and give your file a name, and location on your computer.

yup, you're right..got it uploaded....:dunno perhaps someone could note that on the tutorial....???....might save some people some frustration???:scratch
