Thanks to Steve C I was able to find the Monarch butterflies of Lighthouse Field in Santa Cruz. Here's the sign from the street. I didn't take the parking lot shortcut because the path was so muddy.

It was a gloomy chilly day, so only a few Monarchs were active, but those that were were easy to shoot as they were having trouble flying around.

Hey Dee,

Interesting stuff. The butterflies down here are active suckers and not too easy to shoot. Love the shot of the Monarch. :thumb
