My birthday present . . . been a long time . . .

Hi gang . . .

Been a long time since I have been here. Celebrated my birthday in January . . . one of those landmark birthday years if you know what I mean . . .

My dear wife got me a very nice birthday present which I just picked up a week ago :-) . . . a Pentax *ist Ds DSLR. So far I am having a lot of fun with it. I can use my old Pentax lenses and flash which is great . . .

Here is pic I took the other morning . . . in manual mode. About 20 seconds exposure. It was great standing in the backyard at 5:30a.m. experimenting with my new toy . . .
