Boats? OK, I think I know where you were headed with this but to my eye I see one boat (the white one) and it's blocked by something (the yellow thing) that doesn't necessarily appear to be a boat but I'll assume it must be. :scratch

imagine this same picture titled simply; "Waiting for Spring" or "Hibination", leaving it up to the viewer to decipher?

Hi 4labs...

All that snow in the foreground certainly emphasizes a long winter. You know, I'm not much for "rules" when it comes to photography, but the more I've been investigating the rule of thirds, the more I'm coming to realize there might be something to it, in certain cases.

So just as a fun experiment, you might want to crop out some of the lower part of the image, so that the boat falls on the bottom left intersection of the imaginary grid. You can see the affect just by scrolling with your browser before actually doing any cropping. To my eyes, the shot becomes even more pleasing, without eliminating that much of the foreground snow.
