really nice shots. I like #2 best - to my eye it almost looks like a lightbox image.

I like them both, espicially no.2. Backlight floats my boat but I never thought about it in B&W. Too kwel, good job. :thumb Thanks for the share.

These are not 'just a couple shots of leaves' - I see beautiful images of light and shades ... the leaves just happened to be there.

These are beautiful!!:clap
Can you tell us how you did your B&W conversion? I really like the tones on these which often gets lost in many conversions.

mitchwhen i used to shoot a film camera i took mostly bw shots... so when i starting shooting digital shot i needed to find a way to convert them to bw... needless to say i have tried a few different methods...
these shots were done by adding a hue/saturation adjustment layer in photoshop... and turning the saturation all the way down... so it becomes bw... then i adjusted the levels of the original layer until it looked the way i wanted it to...
i have no idea if there is a better way to do this... i just try things and see if they work... hope this helps.

If your familiar with PhotoShop CS you can play with some selective color with leaves.
I added some SPICE to this one just playing around a was pleasently surprised!!
It was a lotta fun too! :D
