OK, this is just TOO weird. Ever have a gallery background just *CHANGE*, and your navbar and banner go bye bye out of the blue? I have - twice tonight. :confused
My site is: http://westernimagphoto.smugmug.com/
So here's the story... My "intimate portrait" gallery (http://westernimagphoto.smugmug.com/gallery/3329607)
out of the blue, stopped showing my header, and nav bar, and the background was the default smugmug background (black). Prior to this it was working fine, but when I went through to check button functionality before logging off tonight, it happened. :pissed
I made sure there was no theme set other than default and CUSTOM. Still no change. Finally, I created a new gallery, moved the photos from the old one to the new one. Then, I added the new reference number of the gallery into the footer (so the nav bar for intimate portraits would direct to the appropriate gallery). Works. :ivar
So, being the PITA I am, I go back to the homepage... I click the links again (check and double check)
I click through the buttons on the nav bar, i get to "intimate portraits" (hold breath) - WHEW it worked. Moved to the next button, and clicked on Rodeo. Gallery opens... Nooooooooohhhhhhh (*^*&@*&%@ same problem!
Now, my RODEO link (http://www.smugmug.com/gallery/3316012) displays with the black, default smugmug background. Same problem as with the intimate portrait gallery earlier. I don't want to perform the steps I did with the ealier gallery, as I am worried I'm not FIXING the problem, merely moving it around (or something).
What the heck is going on? Ideas? :bash
The only thing I've done besides a fix that wonderful allen had me execute to align text & image in my "about me" gallery was to turn off the (&*^@* key words (#photoKeywords { display: none; }). Even after I'd performed these steps, everything worked correctly.
Seens all of a sudden, I have a troll in my galleries - and I don't like him very much! :grim
I would love to understand what is causing this, and how to make it stop. :scratch
