Hi all
Looks like a class reunion..:D
I started life as a photo journalist, and have always loved photos. It runs in the family (my brother is a famous war photographer and currently owns the largest photo press agency in the Benelux).

Do you know my friend David Henry? He's an American ex-pat photographer living in Paris.
He's absolutely amazing and his work is at www.davidphenry.com (http://www.davidphenry.com)

Thanks. The Arc photo was made on top of the Eiffel Tower with a 210 lens and shot out of hand.
The Fecamp one is the true color of the sea (maybe it's because it's about 2 miles from a nuclear powerplant :eh: ). I have another one of the cliffs there, but no-one believes me when I say it's the real color. Everyone thinks I jazzed it up in PS. Maybe I'll post it later.

No I don't. There's quite a photographer community here (bit like the artists). Paris is a photographer wet dream :yeah:

Just a 210 lens from the Eiffel Tower, huh? It's been decades since I've been to Paris... I don't remember the two being that close. I just love the complexity of the jumble of buildings, and how sharply they're all in focus. Does the lens have IS? I really enjoy your shots, bring 'em on!

Tough about the shot of you in the cage :snif: but I can vouch for the colour of the sea in your shot of Fecamp.
It's the chalk from the cliffs/seabed that gets churned up in rough seas and produces that green colour.
Nice shots,
