We were in "silly valley" Tuesday and on our way home we stopped by the "Duck Pond" in Palo Alto, on Embarcadero, east of the Palo Alto Airport.

This originally was a swimming pool, but is now a duck pond and refuge.

Here's goosey gander prancing around.

I like how you caught the goose's foot coming out of the water. What can I say about the duck butt shot? Have you ever asked yourself why they always turn their butts towqrds the photographer. I've have never had a duck who dunked his head into the water w/o turning his butt towards me. I think they are trying to tell us something. :D
