It was quite strange on this trip, normally the coucals skulk in the bush and disappear as soon as you stop - this time we must have seen well over a hundred on our travels, all posing to have their pics taken.

.Thanks Skippy! We have quite a few birds with red eyes, but normally not quite as vivid as the two coucals I've shown here. Could be something to do with spring coming :barb
