In your header code.
Change the a to an e and the galleries link will work.:D

here's your nav html with relative links inserted.

<div id="navcontainer">
<ul>
<li><a href="/">Home</a></li>
<li><a href="/gallery/xxxxxxx">About Me</a></li>
<li><a href="/galleries">Galleries</a></li>
<li><a href="/gallery/xxxxxxx">Information</a></li>
<li><a href="/gallery/xxxxxxx">Guestbook</a></li>
</ul>
</div>

Replace the above xxxxxxx's with their gallery number.
Example of gallery number in red.

All in all I think that cut-and-paste should be made a thing of the past for those who don't want to HAVE TO deal with it. Having it available is all nice and dandy for those who are computer savvy and know how to do everything themselves, or have the time to come here and get their hand held through everything, but I believe (and I've posted this before, sorry) a revolution in customization has taken place on my blog host, Xanga.

I'm sure the head geeks at Smugmug have already witnessed this "technology", and I REALLY, REALLY, REALLY hope they embrace it SOON.

Samples of the magic: (don't worry they're all super-trashy quality, >1MB files.)

In this first video you can see me open up the customization bar, where colors for everything can be set, and background images can be inputted, dimensions can be set, etc. and then go down and play with some of the "modules"... It is literally a JOY to customize my blog, while customizing my Smugmug is something I dread having to do.

Of course it's also incredibly easy to adjust the layout as a whole, and I'm given options for basic layout designs. Oh, and yeah in case you didn't see it, there's a panel for CSS input too, IF you MUST.

Xanga has probably 2 million users and hosts photos / videos and stuff. So this customization thing CAN be done on a large scale. I think offering this would set Smugmug SO FAR beyond all competition, seriously. Oh wait, Zenfolio is using it a little bit, aren't they? If that's the case, and Smugmug doesn't follow suit, it could get ugly... And furthermore, offering such easy customization would turn this customization forum into a quiet little place for the uber geeks to come and chat, instead of the never-ending deluge of "help I'm lost!" and sometimes "I'm lost, and pissed!" topics from layfolk like myself and the OP here.

Sorry guys if this ended up a bit scathing. I just strongly dislike scrip,t and I try to avoid it at all costs.

Let me get one thing straight though- I think Smugmug has by far the most beautiful layout and layout customization available, it beats every other image hosting site I've looked into by a long shot, (even Zenfolio) and you all have worked very hard to get Smugmug to where it is today. I JUST think that cut-and-pasting script to customize our pages really has to go. I'd go as far as to say that in the very near future it is going to become archaic...

Oh and the tiny ajax boxes are 'no bueno' either. Check out this HUGE "lightbox" editing window!

There is a fundamental difference in the Xanga pages as opposed to the SmugMug pages. Xange allows you to customize the things that they give you, but SmugMug allows you to create things of your own. Just that fact would make it a 1000x more difficult to create a wysiwyg kind of editor.

The other problem is that the editors such as Xanga uses, are not smart enough. They don't know the difference in interpretation between browsers, and they don't write correct code a lot of the times.

Just look at your blog in different browsers:

Oh-so-ronically, that side bar is something I DID create of my own. I could probably make it identical from browser to browser if I cared to do so.

But see that's my point- I'm so extremely happy with such a simple interface that I'm perfectly fine with it the way it is, in fact both versions look great to me lol...

And besides, if I didn't want to switch to Xanga's new theme interface, I don't have to. I could stick with the old customization if I wanted to. If Smugmug simply OFFERED a new, no cut-and-paste required interface, the overwhelming majority of users would switch to it and love it...
