I thought this was a nice photo of cactus in the desert. It was raining and the light was fine!
Any comments/critiques would be welcome....
Thanks, RT88

I get a lot of fog where I live, and it does wonders for flowers.
This is a very nice cactus scene indeed!

Its a fine shot, the colors and lighting are effective. :thumb I might have tried to give it a little more punch by applying curev or tinkering with the saturation (i have never been subtle). :D

Very nice colors for cactus :thumb It reminds me a little bit of East Coast Fall color :clap
Like Harry, I would have "turned it up a notch". A little bit of curves maybe, and a touch of tabassco, I mean saturation.....lol
See, that's what happens when your eyes get old? They crave those bright colors and high contrast :rofl It helps us determine what those blurry things in the pictures really are....LOL
J/K Nice shot and thanks for sharing it with us,
Steve

http://genet.smugmug.com/photos/15484406-M.jpg:thumb Very nice! My only possible critique might be to switch up your shutter speed a bit to capture the droplets of rain. Awesome Photo:clap

It was so early in the morning and not much light. There was no way to capture raindrops. Besides, they are so small ...LOL...Here's a shot taken just a couple minutes earlier you may like.....Rain and all

Harry and Steve, Thanks for your input. I added a little saturation to the picture and here it is below. I'm not sure what "curves" is. I suspect it is something in Photoshop. I am new to the digital world. Film has been my passion.... But he digital world is something I need to learn........
Thanks again......
