Banner help?

I've searched this forum for creating a banner but instead find lots on how to make it show up on home/different pages. Can someone point me in the right direction as to how to actually create a banner in PS? Years ago I used to do this with a different program but not certain how to go about it in PS.

I figured it out...besides, the question really was about how to put photos in a banner....done now.:wink
