OK... I've finally looked "EVERYWHERE" and found my Sunpak 383

Let the learning curve begin....

Any basic rules of thumb to keep in mind with this thing?

All help appreciated.

I've been looking for the Sunpak 383 also, which seems to be out of production. However, you can still pick up a Quantaray Q383 from RitzCamera.com, which is the identical unit manufactured by Sunpak for Ritz Camera's house brand. The flash unit shows as being in stock, but sells for $99.95 (no S/H or tax), a bit higher than the Sunpak.
