Does cropping in post-production affect the resolution of let's say a 16x20 customer order through Smug?
I crop my images usually to 4x6 and 5x7. If a customer orders a 16x20 print, does SmugMug see it as a 4x6 image and then try to squeeze out a 16x20 print?
Thanks,
Andy

Don't pre-crop, it's best to let the customer crop. You set your galleries to proof delay, and you can adjust crops as needed :)

The answer though, is we won't allow cropping beyond the minimum resolution for a good print - the crop tool is smart like that :)

Thanks Andy,
I guess my concern is that I have some unwanted items in my wedding images and want to crop them out prior to posting them on my site.
I'm sort of afraid they'll print them "as is".
