Hi Trickshot - no, it's not slow for everyone. But we don't like it when it's slow for anyone! Can you please give us a bit of info? A traceroute from you to us will help greatly. Here's how:

Yeah... took me quite awhile to open a gallery about 20 minutes ago, but seems ok now.

Along the same note, why are Facebook photo albums so lightningly fast? There albums load pics (600x800) at less than 1 second for me in Japan. Flickr and Smugmug all take at least 2-3 seconds, SmugMug often takes 5+.

How does Facebook load the pics and pages so fast?

I'm having the same slowness problem. It's been going on for at least two days, maybe three. I have high speed broadband and am having no problems on any other website...except smugmug. It takes AT LEAST 30 seconds for me to move around when I click on anything. It's maddening. Please see if you can speed things up. Thanks.

p.s. I can post speed tests etc. after work, but I've got to run now. As I said, I'm having no problems anywhere but at smugmug. Things used to be great, but not anymore.

Any word?? I've seen where others say it's slow when uploading. It's slow for me during browsing. Like someone else said, it's only when browsing smugmug. When I click control panel, it takes forever.

at home using wireless, no firewall. I have a firewall, but it doesn't allow me to see my photos so i turn it off.

The speed is actually better today.
