Help!
I have followed the tutorials for Custom Header/Banner, and for Nav Bar set-up. It's been great. (Thanks to those who wrote those tutes!!)
Now I am working on creating seperate galleries for things like the bio, the information page, etc. And I followed someone's tutorial for it... Andy, yours perhaps in a Q & A format?? :dunno I am kicking myself for not bookmarking the page.
Anyways, here is my problem. Everything on my bio page is great except at the bottom it says:
"This is a new page and has no photos" (or something akin to that)

WHAT THE HECK IS THIS??? I can't get rid of it!! I have my CSS stuff correct and I have my html all in place... why, oh, why is this there???

Check my site - and let me know what you think I can do!!!

in the CSS section of your customization (enter thru control panel)

add this code


.gallery_3167799 .nophotos {display:none;}

the numbers are the gallery numbers from the url... each gallery is different so you need this code for each gallery you want that text hidden in...

Yeah, I already have that in there. Which is why you know, I said my CSS was just as instructed on tute...

Your CSS is not active in that gallery.
Under "gallery tools" dropdown > "customize gallery" make sure under
appearance that "custom" is checked and not "smugmug". Also make sure
"hide owner" is not checked.

WOO-HOO!!! Thank you Allen!!! You are the man for me right now - I am in the middle of following your instructions on embedding a flash player slideshow since I couldn't for the life of me get the hack customization down for the javascript one!!
