Had some strange birds that I have not seen before .

These "ducks??" were very small , and the dang things , every time I went to take a shot , they would dive and pop up about 15 feet away !!!!! They spent a lot of time under water . Anyone know what they are??

Now this guy was a screacher , very loud , and ran so freakin fast it was hard to capture him on the cam .How about this 1 ? Anyone know what it is ???

It was a real challenge to catch him in flight . Next time I'll get the sucker !!!!:giggle

Then , I turn around to leave , and this guy scared the BeJesus out of me !!!!!!!

The first two look like juvenile Pied-Billed Grebes, Walt. Last one is bery good

I vote for grebes in the first two and the "screechy" bird is a killdeer.
