Here's one of my fav models to date on a sitting. She is patient, can be a little hard to work with, but will stay around (most days) as long as I need her to. She works for "treats" and almost never complains...
These were shot shortly after I got my D70, and had the 60mm 2.8 macro loaded. Since I had a back-lighting issue, and no SB-800 yet, please let me know that I could have done different to make these shots turn out better.

A couple of QT's you have there AJ. Looks like they're gittin' into it as kittens usually do.

purrrty kitty.
mine can see yours...Thanks. Yea... I guess so! My preference are the slit eyes. So, you shot yours indoors with no flash I suspect?
OH, and let me ask one other question... Yours like "Fish Sticks" too? :huh

Man, I REALLY dig that #2 shot!
The sharpness, bokeh and contrast are beautiful, exactly what one should expect from the 60mm macro! I dig the compo and exposure too, it's a great cat shot!
Thanks so much for sharing!
Take care!

Hi Angelo!
'Bokeh' comes from a japanese word, which means something like 'blur' or 'fade'. In photography, the term designates the (rather subjective) quality of the out-of-focus areas, which varies from lens to lens.
Good bokeh is said to be really smooth, resulting on a very blurred and unobtrusive out-of-focus background.
Hope I could help!
Take care!
