These were taken last April but I don't think they've been posted before. Unfortunately they were taken in direct sunlight at mid-day. We do the best we can with what we have.

On Aruba I always have to deal with very strong sunlight and I know how difficult it can be. Yours captures are just great.

Thanks very much for all the kind words, folks. Yes, exposures are always iffy in cases like this. What I try to do if I'm in the same light as the subject is take a reading off my hand. The I take a couple of shots and check the histogram and preview of the shot. I always shoot RAW so I have a bit of latitude when it comes time to process.
