Very nice. How about leveling the shot though (use the crossties as a reference)?

Gary's right. The shot is leaning to the left a tad.
As a whole, this shot doesn't really grab me, but I am not sure why. It feels liky you have carefully planned how the rail sits in the frame and to some degree sacrificed your primary subject, the penny. When composing shots like this, I think is it best to compose the image from your subject out. Give the penny the most eye catching placement you can and build the frame around it.

Very good suggestion... and one I've implemented. I loved the shot and processed it when my skills were different. I've learned more since then.

I'm interested in a shot after the train has passed. With a flat coin.
