No, they are Little Owls, we don't have burrowing owls in the UK, unless you mean thats a trait of theirs (?)

Ooops. I forgot from where you are posting. Little owls seems like such an appopo name now. Burrowing owls is actually a species here in the states. They are quite photogenic little things. Sadly, I don't have any where I am.
