Hi folks

One more quick question. I have IPhoto, Aperture and Photoshop CS on my MBP. When I load photos from my memory card reader to my computer, they go to Aperture for organizing, etc. I haven't figured out how to get them into Photoshop yet - under "export" it gives wierd PICT stuff, how do I get the photos into Photoshop? Drag and drop?

Sorry but I am very new to Mac - the MBP is my first venture into the world of Mac. So far I love it, but does take some getting used to. :)

thanks for the help,

Marcy

It's way easier than that ;-)

In Aperture's preferences, select Photoshop as the external editor. Then, just right click on a photo (or control-click if you don't have a two button mouse -- that should be a crime in this day and age ;-) and select "open in external editor." Aperture will automatically create a new version and send it to Photoshop for you to edit. When you're done with the edits, just click "save" in Photoshop (command-S) and the changes will automatically be updated in Aperture.

Thanks so much - that is way simple, even for an old fogey to understand. LOL!
