Lucky Shot

Hi,

I had to post this only because it was one of those shots that I wasn't ready for. I had my 500 f4 mounted today hoping to see "something" flying. It was 95 degrees and nothing was moving. I was just about ready to pack up go home when out of the corner of my eye I saw a streak. The sun was in the wrong place and I wasn't ready so I just hit the button anyway. I only took about 3 shots for the whole day and when I got home I was surprised to see this guy show up. It almost filled the full frame.. HA ! You should see how big the original is. I cut this down to 1000 pixels wide just to be able to post it.

I take no credit for capturing this shot.. it was just a knee jerk reaction to a flash out of the corner of my eye.. Oh well, so much for all those planned shots.

Thanks for all the comments. I really don't even remember this guy flying by he (she) was so close and flying at "duck speed".. and then gone. I was quite surprised when I download it. Wish it would have been an Eagle, LOL.
