Got another lens in the mail today and I had to try it out, nothin fancy, pop up flash with my new Tamron 70-300 macro.

I think I need to reshoot this, the DOF if of a touch or needs to be a bit deeper, but it was just a test.

Wow... absolutly amazing. I tried to shoot a snowflake with my Sigma 28(?)-300 but could not get anywhere near it (at least still focused)


Is that a special kind of lense that allows you to take pictures that close?

Thx everyone, that is one of the roses I got for my wife for Valentines. When I took this shot I had owned the rose for 10 minutes, and the lens for 5.
