Spent Saturday at Englishtown, NJ for the NHRA drag racing event. It's been a few years since I've been to E-Town, and the first time I've been there with the DSLR. Here are a few shots...

At NHRA events, the pit areas are all part of where you get to wander around with your admission. It gets loud, but you can get right up close to all the action.

That second shot is certainly a wild looking machine. Man those top fuellers can ring your ears !!

Brings back some good memories. :D I grew up fairly close to there and remember my boyfriends dragging me to "Rrrrraceway Park!" in my teens. Must've had some kind of effect because I spent the last 23 years working in the auto industry! :rofl
