I like the second bridge shot as well but I really like the old man smoking the cig for some reason.
Where you at down there? I have friends that have lived all over your east coast and my wife lived in Gladstone for her high school years.

I have worked in Gladstone at the smelter...on their power transformers & switch yards.
Was that at Queensland Aluminum. My father in law worked that place for many years. Ginn, know him?

Ohh, waxy will be croppin real soon. You've got some nice shots and I need to visit down there to take a few of my own.

I like that old guy. Nice crop. :wxwax I really like the bridge shots too. Bloody hell, someone better talk to those drivers or there'll be a wreck!

But mostly, thanks for a tour of your city. :thumb

Now that our weather is finally warming up I'll take a walk around D.C. on a lunch break.

Thanks for the tour, Marc. :thumb What's the story behind the LBJ monuments?

When your on your walk, you may want to skip Santana Row. I was told that it was privite property, and you couldn't take photos. Although I don't think it would hold up in court, I didn't feel like it was really worth the effort to argue the point. I was done anyway. This was at about 7:00 am, before the stores were open.

Wow! :bow Some terrific shots there, mate. The monster trees are great, and so's the sunset.
