Can someone please tell me what this guy did to get water to look like that? On some it looks like he just photographed it splashing and on others I'm not sure what it is he did. Then there are all the colors....

He is using a pretty heavy pigment to color the water (dyes are transparent, pigments are opaque). My guess is that he also is using something to thicken the water a bit (glycerine maybe?). My guess is that carefully pouring multiple layers of colored water, dropping things into it, and capturing the splash with a strobe.

Edit: there is a diagram at the end. It looks like he is putting small drops of water on a loudspeaker and using it to shake the water which creates the splashes.

Don't know how I missed it the first time I looked at the page, but W-A-Y down on the bottom he describes his workflow. The surface is a speaker and it looks like when he turns up the volume the vibration causes the water to jump all around and he shots it. Pretty ingenius. But those colors are phenomenal!!

That's certainly a unique approach. I once tried dripping black currant cordial into water and it didn't work as well as this guy...my hand got tired holding the bottle for over a hundred shots :(
