Nice pics. For some reason I especially like the one of Grand Central. But really, in the middle of the Big Apple, couldn't you have rounded up a few more people for this photo!? ;-)

Wonderful pictures. Thanks for sharing. How did you do the pic where there was a man and the train was blurry?

Thanks Sarahcsu. Actually, that was a handheld shot at a very slow speed (0.6 secs). He was standing as still as a statue and the subway was moving at a pretty good clip.

Awesome photos man.
Love the way you timed the photo of Grand Central where the sun was by the middle window. Reminds me very much of a photo I've always loved: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/48406570/?qo=49&q=by%3Agilad&qh=sort%3Atime+-in%3Ascraps
LOVE Strawberry Fields, and I even love the first post-cardy pic :)
They're all great man!

Thanks everyone for the kind comments.

Ginny,

The Time Square shot was hand held as well. I tried using a tripod but was told to put it away by two different policemen (you need a permit to use a tripod in Time Square).

As lit up as Time Square is you really don't need a long exposure to capture it at night. Plus, the billboards are constantly moving and changing so a long exposure would make everything a blur.

Thanks Mike49 and everyone else who commented on my pics.

I could use a little help from the NYC photographers.

I'll be back in NYC next month and it just so happens that I'll be there over the 4th of July. I'm looking for the best location to shoot the fireworks with Lady Liberty in the background/foreground. Can anyone suggest a good location to shot from. Thank you in advance.

Very nice photo's Adam. I'll be heading to the City in August with the family for vacation. Can you tell if the location for taking the photo of the Brooklyn Bridge was easily accessible? I would like to take a similiar photo, but don't expect the family to hike with me to get the shot.

Looking forward to additional posts.
