"Two trees, a bush and some weed, and you call that a backyard!?" is a often heared reaction of people if I show them
this little green.

They cannot imagine that anything alive visit this "whole lot of nothing".

If I show them my captures, they still don't wanne believe, till...I crap them in the neck and force them to look futher than
the length of their nose.

Sometimes it hurts to notice the lack of interest in nature from people in general. It is also for this reason that we keep
on shooting pics and show them to the world.

Isn't it wonderful to have backyard with weed? Yep!! People don't see much, they're too busy doing their own little things and not notice beauty around them. That is where people like you and all the folks in the photography world come in. We give those who don't notice something to think about. Keep amazing them with your great stuff, you'll be way ahead of all of them! :clap

Great pics and I too am amazed at the lack of awareness by many when it comes to Nature and what it offers.

I agree also, people seem so surprised to hear I get most my shots near home. It's out there if we are willing to go look. [or have time to]

And yes, I am getting more in touch with nature again. A good thing....to spread the word. What is funny, is some people are soooo interested and amazed, and some think its a waste of time. I am learning personalities.

BTW your shots look beautiful. I wish I could capture that in my back yard!
Some people say they cant get near nature, I say baloney, just look for it, plant a few pots of plants that hummers and butterflies like. You will get some great shots!:thumb

Thanks!

In the most modern cities or most dirty industrial locations, nature will always shows her face. Unfortunately, we destroy faster than nature can produce. Sometimes I wondering if we, people, are really the intelligent species.
