The strong winds last night from the North cracked tha land fast ice and it blew out to see. One umiaq is still trying, on the last day before whaling festival begins tommorrow !

I can't imagine what ice like that must be like to see with your own eyes.
In the part of Australia where I live we don't even get frost :D

Well Skippy.. what is keeping you where you are living.. Anchorage Alaska has so much work.. and you can build snowmen all you want.!!

Valdez Alaska gets more snow than anyplace in the world each winter.!
