View Full Version : SD1000 Does Macro (slight gross out factor)

Came home last night to find a small frog (likely a victim of my cat), which was being disposed of by a group of large black ants. I recently bought a Canon SD1000 for a carry around when I don't want to lug out the 20D, so I thought I'd try out the macro mode.

Here's the overall scene:

Only PP was to lower the brightness a little, bump contrast and resize.

Little bit of Fringing shows up on the close-up (#2nd shot)
Taking into account that these are ANTS,
the Canon SD1000 did a pretty good job :thumb
