Here's my first photo for ch32, fresh out of the camera, no edits (because I wasn't sure what edits are allowed).

ISO 64, f/8.0, 1/100s, flash bounced off a wall.
This one gave me a chance to play with my new close-up lenses. :)
Suggestions, critiques, comments welcome.

we must think alike, I was thinking about coffee, too, it's like blood, I can't live without it. :) But you beat me to it!
First off, I like this shot. Your browns are warm and not flat, they have a nice tone to them. Nice variations of highlights, too. My eye gets drawn to the central lighter-colored bean. Definitely fits the challenge. :clap

It is wonderful! Definately makes me want another cup of coffee:slurp
I'm feel kinda sheepish putting my pictures on the same website as people like you who obviously have an amazing eye, and you are so creative. BRAVO!

Nice photo and subject for the contest. Perhaps an additional light source to give the beans a little more depth.

:) Thanks for the suggestion, rt. I'll try that.:thumb

I don't even LIKE coffee, and I think I might need to follow Angelo to Starbucks! I really like the richness of this photo. I'm no help with the technical aspects, but I could almost smell the beans the first time I looked at this. :clap
