Have a look at my site (http://www.ivarborst.com), or here (http://dgrin.smugmug.com/gallery/1801307) to see what others have done!
I've moved this over to the customization forum btw.

:scratch :scratch :scratchAndy's site is set up for 90% according to my tutorial here: http://dgrin.smugmug.com/gallery/1100284
It first has you put the header, navbar/links and slideshow on your site, once you have that, we'll get to the styling part as far as colors and backgrounds go.
I think (hope) it is pretty easy to follow, but let us know if you have any questions!

You don't need to be a programmer, really. Most of the code is cut and paste, and you don't need to change anything about it. Just follow the tutorial. Only a few things have to be made 'custom' and if you need any help with that, we are here, really :thumb

A blog can be easily linked to from your navbar. I've been blogging at http://www.blogger.com for quite a while and I have my blog linked from my smugmug page (follow link below for example). Blogger is a free tool from Google, and there are others out there as well. I haven't changed my blog header to match my smugmug header, but I believe that is possible.
