View Full Version : Playing With Sepia

I have recently begun playing with Sepia tones. I think Sepia is a little warmer than B&W but I like to omit the color as I think it can be distracting to the "story" of the image. I am trying to take photos with the intention of making them sepia tones. This is one of my first two attempts (I can't figure out how to post more than one photo per message). Any feedback (positive or negative) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi picciedude. :wave You can't attach more than one pic per post. If you keep your photos on an online service like smugmug (which is connected to this site, same owner), or pbase... you can link them to yer posts here and put in more than one shot per post. It's called 'linking' and makes life a lot easier on dgrin's server than attaching shots.

I like your sepia treatment. Not too much, not too little. If you're using Photoshop, here's a method (http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=4965) that many here have tried. Cruise around our Hall of Wisdom, you'll find some useful stuff.

I did this pic in sepia because the reception was in an art deco style party hall. That, and because the bride had red eye.:wink
