UNCTEP

Sat by one of my feeders yesterday and was pleased with the variety of visitors. Here are a few:
Nuthatch

Female House Finch

Male House Finch (who landed nearby)

Also seen, but of course not willing to pose were lots of goldfinches and even a downy woodpecker (who cleverly went the back side of the feeder where I couldn't get a shot)
And this morning, heard some chirping coming from the edge of the woods near my porch. Found this little guy, who apparently doesn't quite have the whole "flying"concept mastered yet. I was going to try and move him up higher, (he was basically on the ground) so my cats couldn't get an easy meal, but he scampered off into the azaleas when I got too close. I guessing it's a young robin?
