First of all: our freindly raccoon turned out to be a "she", so we changed the name from Kostya (male name) to Marusya (female name). Second: she turned out to be a single mom, and today we were privy to meet Meeko (after the one in Disney's Pocahontas), the little one.

Meeko is up front, Marusya is watching

Marusya is helping Meeko to get over the rail:

Time to retire from the playground into the family castle

The road is not easy, but Marusya is no stranger to challenges

Now Meeko can climb the final piece of path him/herself

While Marusya keeps watch

I wonder if she's moving them in ............ one at a time? Usually you see a couple of these kits. Cute shots. :D

I don't know... last night she took him for a stroll in the bushes/backyards, and we haven't seen them back yet. There were only two of them. However before there was a family of four, but we haven't seen them for at least a year, maybe even two.

I'm enjoying the follow ups on your cute little neighbors. Glad to see they're doing fine and dandy. When are they finally moving inside? :rofl
